| Panorama for the Undecided is a sculpture made of wood and grey mirror Plexiglas produced during a residency in Oldenburg, Germany. The V-like shape of the sculpture corresponds to the perspective of a 180 degree camera pan of the area and the Plexiglas sheets suggest frames in a short film sequence. The sculpture was shown on a parking lot in a spot from where you can see "the Quartier" from a slight distance, an area with a diverse architecture, inhabitants and professions soon to be partly demolished, remodelled and renovated. Surrounded by this eclectic backdrop the grey mirrors reflected the scenery, resembling a photograph from a bygone era. |
